Open water diver

Open Water Diver: The PADI Open Water Diver course is the entry-level certification that allows you to explore the underwater world independently. It includes both theoretical knowledge development and practical skills training. During the course, you’ll learn about scuba diving equipment, basic dive planning, underwater communication, and safety procedures. You’ll also have the opportunity to practice essential skills in a controlled pool environment before heading to the open water for multiple dives. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a certification that allows you to dive with a buddy, up to a depth of 18 meters (60 feet).
